Are you ready for what might be the best night of
your life?
The brutalist nature is heightened by falling snow
and a stark color palette. However, as one might
expect, that does not last for long.
As we journey through the interior of buildings,
we encounter color and lights that contrast the
exterior and bring energy and warmth with it.
As the sun sets, we speed towards the entrance
of a club with queues of people waiting to enter –
this is F A B R I E K .
From here, we journey through various spaces
before we enter back into the City and this time
we bring all the colors, lights and energy with
us. It does make us wonder exactly how long we
were down there?
Whilst there is a hard edge to the environment,
we find the Music & Visuals provide plenty of
contrasting moments that allow us to move and
manipulate the energy of our riders.
By bringing our Inclusive Attitude and by creating
a Fresh & Flexible approach to each ride, we
uncover different layers within this workout.
Uncovering new aspects to THE TRIP workouts
brings renewed enthusiasm and it helps keep
everyone engaged.
The continuous free-flowing feel with longer
extended periods of effort continues in the
release – we appreciate the feedback we have
been receiving and we intend to continue with
this endurance-based approach.
Great to have Bas leading this one too, and for
the trainspotters out there, you may realize there
is a connection with Bas and this release – any

THE TRIP 28 – T H E F U N K B O R O U G H
This release is a vibe with soulful sounds and
beats that make the body feel good!
Some of us will draw parallels with
THE TRIP 16 – THE BOROUGH, however this time
we bring extra funk.
The City is full of amazing detail and we are
instantly embraced by the soulful sounds while
we continuously flow for a full ten minutes before
experiencing our first official recovery.
The free-flowing feel continues throughout the
workout and provides a wonderful opportunity for
everyone to dial-up or dial down their intensity
whenever needed. This is a continuation of what
we have seen in recent releases and the freedom
this provides for everyone to find their own place
in the workout is extremely empowering.
From the City, we delve into other spaces which
are heavily influenced by the music and by the
hyper-real era we find ourselves in.
The final challenge is a series of extremely heavy
and slow climbs which are quickly followed by two
quicker athletic climbs to bring us back where we
started. The sense of accomplishment combined
with the feel-good factor of the Music & Visuals is
a wonderful thing.
For many of us, this release will usher in 2022 –
however we want to pay our respects to all of you
that continue to support us, and this wonderful
program, especially over the past two years. It
has been a tumultuous time, to say the least, so
please accept our sincerest thanks.

With this release, we wanted to suspend reality
for the briefest of moments, and take more of a
nostalgic journey, hence the heavy reference to
the 70’s – fuzz rock, festivals, and freedom!
The name is derived from the Greek word
Zodiakos, and the stellar references in all senses
of the word are scattered throughout our journey.
We have time to ease into this one, and the
opening sequence can be used to do our final
pre-class checks, or we can choose to ride from
the very beginning – feel free to mix this up.
Starting on the coast we quickly get a feel for
speed before we head inland to a festival and
beyond. The desert can do strange things to
people and it’s here we encounter more magic.
After a ride that leaves much to the imagination,
we find ourselves back on the coast, but let’s be
honest, things will never quite be the same.
To enhance the feeling of freedom we created
a workout focus that allows riders to adjust their
Resistance and Pace in a way that suits them best.
This empowers riders to dial up or dial down their
intensity and it supports the Inclusive Attitude we
promote in THE TRIP.
The workout itself has a great mix of long flowing
blocks and utilises athletic jumps, and surging
sections to keep the heart rate lifted and the
vibes high. There is plenty of challenge for those
wanting to push themselves and it can be easily
scaled for any fitness level.
Finally, on a personal note, we want to let
everyone know we couldn’t do what we do
without the support provided to us by THE TRIP
community and the wider LES MILLS family – we
absolutely love the passion each of you has for
this program.

THE TRIP 26 – S O L A R
The foundation of this release is the music, and at
the heart of the music lies the beat, and it is the
beat that inspired our approach to the visuals and
approach taken by our Presenter – Khiran Huston
– oh yeah, The Queen is back!
We bookend SOLAR with fractal images, beat
reactive visuals, and a ride through deep space,
to lure us into and out of the experience. Our
initial encounter with space engages our bodies
with the workout and our final encounter with
space provides the chance to celebrate.
Movement and flow are highlights as we enter
a lush jungle space that evolves into a ride over
and underwater. A series of roller climbs at the
back end of this environment lift the intensity and
provide a great challenge.
A land covered in ice serves up a wonderful
mix of climbs and speed phases which dial into
an athletic feel before finishing on more of a
strength-based vibe.
Three beat-driven Transit points provide relief
from the main spaces we encounter, and while
each of these Transit points is similar in some
ways, they are most definitely unique to ride.
Once more we have created a progressive
workout with a focus on longer flowing working
phases combined with energetic transitions.
Plenty of challenge for those that want to go
there and of course easily scaled for any fitness
level.

THE TRIP 24 – K O M O R A 2 . 0
We return to explore the Chamber which was last
seen in THE TRIP 12 – KOMORA.
As we did in the original we start and finish our
ride in a holding chamber which connects us to a
series of four tunnels.
The four tunnels take us to a series of new and
exciting spaces. These tunnels share elements
with the worlds we explore as well as sharing
similar design elements to the original tunnels we
encountered in THE TRIP 12.
The spaces are eclectic and include ice and fire
elements before finishing in a space that lifts the
soul and transcends fitness.
Workout factor is big, with a focus on continuous
flowing phases combined with energetic
transitions between the more intense working
phases.
To anchor the release we brought Bas Hollander
back to pick up where he finished off in THE
TRIP 12, and this provided a great opportunity to
create some subtle links for those of us familiar
with the original. Those of us who are into the
details will certainly pick up on some similarities
as well as noticing how his delivery style has
evolved.
The chance to create a sequel to one of our
most loved releases was really exciting for
us as a creative team – it also proved to be a
challenge as we spent much of our time on this
one in lockdown here in New Zealand due to the
COVID-19 pandemic. We are very happy with
the result and there are many standout moments
which include more fresh original music from our
Les Mills Artists.
We hope you love what we have created and
enjoy exploring the new spaces, as well as finding
fresh approaches to your teaching.

BODYATTACK UNITED has the perfect mix of
music. A blend of sing–along songs and modern
sounds to push you through the peaks and to get
you the benefits of BODYATTACK. This release
has a huge positive feel. It’s full of so many
opportunities to share the BODYATTACK energy.
The release starts with a high energy dance track
to set the mood, followed by a fun, percussive
beat for Mixed Impact where the focus drops to
the legs. You’ll have a chance to party early in this
track and the Aerobic track, Physical. Let’s go and
your participants will follow!
The Plyometric track is challenging. It will have
you lunging and snowboarding up and down
mountains to drive the intensity. Don’t forget,
options all the way of course!
The Athletic Strength track focuses on single
leg movements to develop equal balance and
strength on both sides of the body, while the
upper body sections focus on strength and core
stability.
You and your participants will enjoy this new
sound for the Agility track while you work on
lateral reaction and speed. The highlight of this
track is the rugby training to deliver an authentic
sports vibe.
The Interval track has one of the most loved
songs, remixed to sound fresh and modern. Sing
your hearts out!
Finally, the Cooldown, I’ll Be There, sums up the
whole release – people UNITED, sweating and
sharing their energy. I hope you feel the love and
how your passion changes the world even from
your own back yard.

THE TRIP 22 – U N I T E D
This release comes to you during one of the most
turbulent and unsettling periods of our lives.
We acknowledge this and we hope you have the
opportunity to share this release with your friends
and loved ones.
The workout is made up of four phases.
Phase 1 lures us in and gets us ready – we ride
through the outskirts of a village and into the
grounds of a wonderful palace which is home to a
keyhole that takes us into a tunnel.
Once out of the tunnel we begin Phase 2 which
begins with four minutes of continuous riding
flow. From there the challenges keep coming and
the music keeps building.
Phase 3 will be familiar to some of us as we
remix a familiar track from our very first THE TRIP
release. The Hype is real, the beats are big, and
the workout is even bigger.
We complete the ride with Phase 4 which sees us
back where we started.
Once again you will notice the Masterclass has
taken on a different look. We hope this shift is
enhancing your ability to learn, and for us it is
providing an opportunity to connect with you in a
more personal and inclusive way. For live classes
simply create plenty of opportunities to turn
around and connect with your riders just like we
do talking to you through the camera.

We warm the body and wake up our stepping
muscles to the songs ‘Good Morning’ and
‘Secrets’, then it’s straight on to our first Cardio
Peak, and my personal favourite track, ‘Bad Guy’.
The highs and lows in this track are a sensory and
physical overload!
We work the full body to a challenging Burpee
and Pushup combo in the Mixed Strength track,
and also have a bit of fun with the Pharaoh Squat
combo, that adds some ancient Egyptian themed
flava to the workout.
Peak 2 has us training laterally and behind the
step, to the Kiwi song ‘Renegade Fighter’,
another personal favourite of mine.
You requested some K-Pop music, and we have 2
amazing songs. ‘Kill This Love’ for Conditioning 1,
where we focus on the posterior chain, and ‘DDUDU-DDU-DU’ in the Athletic Circuit.
The Party Step has us striking some fun ‘Bouncer’
poses to ‘I Don’t Belong In This Club’, then we
lift the intensity as we cross train in the Athletic
Circuit.
Then we’re off on a high energy and sassy
adventure to find our final Cardio Peak to
‘Maneater’
We find length in the body, and work the triceps,
lower body and the core in Conditioning 2 to
‘Giant’, and then finally, we stretch out and
cooldown to another of my personal favourite
songs, ‘Better’
