BODYSTEP Release 126 is packed with all the
goodies to keep us all excited and motivated as
we head further into the new year.
We call on our inner Hero to set a strong tone as
we warm up with Squats, Lunges and Back Taps,
and also Remember-ing to have fun along the
way (see what I did there?)
Speaking of fun, check out the Cha-Cha-Cha
rhythm and Cossack Arms in the Step Warm-up
to Rasputin, and the uplifted feeling as we defy
gravity and Levitate to hit our first cardio peak.
In the Mixed Strength track, we head to the
arcade for a fun Mortal Kombat duel. The music,
Hadouken Arms and the Side Walking Burpee
make this my personal favorite track in this
release!
Next, get ready for some multi-directional training
as we flip our Bad Habits around to make them
great habits in Peak 2.
In Conditioning 1, we say See You Later to the
cardio and focus on balance, stability and working
the posterior chain with light weight plates.
Did I mention fun? This colorful Party Step to
Better In Color is bound to be one of the most fun
EVER!
Speed is the name of the game in the Athletic
Circuit. Get ready to see your class ‘go OFF!’
We hit Peak 3 with more uplifting multi-directional
training to I Want Love, and then end this track
with conditioning work to the K-Pop hit Pretty
Savage. As we cool down to Kiss Me More, I
have a challenge… Can you find the bell in the
song, and ‘ding’ it when you find it? Record

It’s fresh and scorching hot! Welcome to
BODYSTEP 125.
This feel great workout kicks off with a welcoming
Warm-Up to Get Together, where we can
celebrate the reopening of clubs worldwide and
reconnecting with our workout buddies again.
We continue to warm our stepping muscles with
rhythm in Track 2 and also create a simple and fun
BODYSTEP TikTok dance to Dance Dance (The
Mexican).
Next up, get ready to strike a pose and sass it up
in Peak 1 to Strut and then we cross train in the
Mixed Strength Track with Straddle Jumps, Speed
Work and Bear Crawls.
We hit Peak 2 with a big push, lateral training and
Split Shuffles and then bring in some weighted
strength training in Conditioning 1 to Rotate.
Whether you’re a Friday or Saturday person, get
ready to raise the roof in the Party Step to Friday.
Check out the new Broad Jump Burpee in the
Athletic Circuit and then we hit Peak 3 feeling
energized, happy and healthy to the banger,
Good 4 U.
Conditioning 2 is next. With a strong focus on
triceps, glutes and obliques. Finally, we get to
reflect on our efforts as we stretch out to We’re
Good.

worldwide, how great it feels to be teaching and
attending live classes again!
With this new release, we celebrate with you, as
you reconnect with your members, friends and
instructors at your gym, at home, or wherever you
choose to work out.
The uplifting and energetic music in this special
release is tailored to creating feel-great vibes right
from the start, as we warm up and clap our hands
to Everybody Dance.
We set a dance battle vibe as we crump our way
to our first cardio peak to Salt, and then we mix
up our training styles in the Mixed Strength track
with Squats, Lunges and Burpees, with a fun
pirate/nautical theme.
Rotations are the name of the game in Peak 2,
to a high energy remake of a classic hit Pressure,
and then we set our quads and glutes on fire in
Conditioning 1 to Dynamite.

and the Athletic Circuit with have you on a mixed
training high, before our super fun Peak 3 Cardio
to What A Man Gotta Do.
We finish this awesome workout with some fullbody conditioning work, and a relaxing stretch.

Welcome to BODYSTEP 123
Get ready for an explosion of fun, flavor and
athletic step training that’ll have you joyfully
smiling as you sweat.
Right from the start, we put some heat into your
quads with Squats and Lunges, and then quickly
disguise the leg burn with some upbeat rhythmic
stepping to The Night, It’s All About Tonight, and
Loca.
In Peak 1, we jump, bounce & spin as we drive
our heart rates up to I Don’t Know Why, and then
we move on to the Mixed Strength track with
some primal inspired training with the Gorilla
Combo, to the song King Kong.
By now we’ll be sweating up a storm as we hit
Peak 2 to Hang Me Out to Dry, then Conditioning
1 gets our legs and shoulders screaming to No
Mercy.
The Party Step is my personal favorite in this
release. It’s sassy and bold, so get ready to step
with attitude and strike a pose or two.
We have a new move in the Athletic Circuit, the
Kick Sit. As with all new moves, take your time,
absorb all the technique tips, and allow yourself
to gradually master this cool exercise over your
next few classes.
Peak 3, we go hard THEN prepare to go home to
the song Hard.
We catch our breath as we shift our focus to
training our triceps, shoulders, lower body and
core, then we cool down to the super chill track,
Put Your Records On.

It’s a new year, and this new release kicks off to
the song New Revolution.
We ease in to the workout with shoulder &
thoracic rotations, Lunges & Squats, and then
we hit the happy vibes to part 2 of the WarmUp to the uplifting song Perfect. Next up is the
Step Warm-Up where we continue to warm up
our stepping muscles, and also learn the walking
pattern needed for the Half Stomp & Mambo, the
alternating foot pattern for the Tap Downs, and
quick foot pattern for the Cha-Cha-Cha’s to God
Is A Dancer.
Get ready for some head spinning fun in Peak 1
to Hallucinate, and then we have a Russian tribute
themed Mixed Strength track to Kalinka & The
Squat Song.
In Peak 2 we get down to get our heart rates up
to cool remake of This Is How A Heart Breaks, and
then we get some cardio recovery & integrated
weighted conditioning work to Ginger.
Next up is the Party Step, where we Chassé, Pivot
& put our hands up to the sky, to Rain On Me.
Then the Athletic Circuit is a real cardio kicker
with Rotating Jump Squats, Heel Tap Burpees
and feel good speed and agility work. Next the
song Something Kinda Ooooh drives us to a heart
churning final cardio peak, then we start to wind
the workout down with weighted conditioning &
core work to No Stress, and a nice stretch out to
complete the workout to death bed.

I’m excited for you all to experience this new
BODYSTEP release.
There’s something for everyone in this class. The
music selection & exercise content will drive you
to hit the athletic parts of the class with energized
power. We contrast the strong feel with uplifting
fun tracks to keep you smiling as you workout.
We warm up to the sweet sounds of Came Here
For Love and 1234, where the lyrics of the songs
dictate some arm lines and foot work.
We reach Peak 1 to the song Motivation, and it
has a fun signature move where you turn around
when the lyrics say ‘turn around’
In the Mixed Strength track, we add Squats,
Burpees and Mountain Climbers to the mix in
a cross training affect to the workout. There are
also standing options available for the Burpees to
keep this class inclusive for all participants.
Peak 2 has a strong athletic feel, to the song
In Cold Blood. This was a song that I often
worked out to at home through the New Zealand
Covid-19 lockdown. I loved it so much that I
had a high energy remake especially made for
BODYSTEP.
Next up is Conditioning 1, where we achieve
cardio recovery as we create some heat in the
lower body to Comin’ In Hotta.
Then it’s show time with the Party Step, where you
have the opportunity to strike poses whenever
you hear the camera click.
The Athletic Circuit is next. Do you remember The
Spook Returns in release 119? This circuit includes
the OG prequel song The Spook. Once again, we
have some fun with spooky arm lines as we jump,
to get our heart rates soaring.
And then full steam ahead to the final cardio peak
to This Is It.
We wind the workout down with weighted
posterior chain and core work to Mothers
Daughter and then cool down to Know Your
Worth.

Here are a few of my personal highlights in this
release:
We have a fun ‘Greek’ theme in the Mixed
Strength track to the song Opa. As we stomp our
feet, squat and run, I like to strike up imagery
‘as if you’re in Greece, stomping around in a big
barrel of grapes to make fine wine’ or ‘smashing
plates with dynamic arm lines’
Peak 1 to Physical has a retro vibe, so I added
some old school Jumping Jacks to bring out the
Jazzercise vibe. Leg warmers are a must when
launching this release.
Peak 2 has a fun & energetic rotating combo that
matches the lyrics and song title Turn It Up.
Peak 3, Hit ‘Em Up Styles also has great
connection to the lyrics, with BODYCOMBAT
styled Jabs and Guards.
I hope that you like the Cooldown track, Glitter,
which is one of my favorite songs from our past
New Zealand summer.

Release 120. That’s 30 years of BODYSTEP and
I am overjoyed to be sharing this awesome
workout with you and your club members. It is
the perfect time to create a BODYSTEP birthday
event at your club, celebrate this milestone
with your loyal steppers, and hopefully get new
participants hooked into our uplifting, feel good
workout!
We kick off our celebration workout to Heatwave
as we warm the body. Next up we practice a
staple BODYSTEP ingredient, (walking) to Left
Right.
You’ll love the single leg explosive power training
in Peak 1. Just a little something to sink your
Teeth into.
For our 30th celebration release, we go retro in
the Mixed Strength track to Jump. So, get Ready
to JUMP!
Up next, we have a fresh new feel for Peak 2.
The quicker tempo gets us moving to a different
rhythm and is sure to give our bodies a fitness
jolt.
Single leg balance and stability is a main focus
in Conditioning 1 to Post Malone. Then we
Party Step to Good As Hell (my personal all-time
favourite track… EVER). This one is all about your
personal grooming and sassy fun attitude.
The Athletic Circuit will get all the Amigos in your
class cross training and working hard. We then hit
the final peak with heaps of contained energy to
Sexy No No No.
Finally, we achieve cardio recovery with full body
strength and conditioning to Real Good Feeling,
then a good stretch out as we Cooldown to the
super cool track Come Home.

We kick off the workout with a dramatic opening,
warming the legs with a lunge & squat pattern
that we recycle in the Mixed Strength track. Then
get ready to Ring The Alarm because we create
some serious heat in the legs and glutes right
from the start of the class!
The Side Effects are a super warm body as we
move in to the first cardio peak in the class to the
much requested song, Born This Way, where we
celebrate your authentic you by giving everyone
the freedom to move they way they want to
move. High, low or somewhere in between, its all
good.
We Get Loud with a spooky twist in the Mixed
Strength track. This is another great track that you
can bank for your fun Halloween themed classes.
Next we jump, swing & propel to bring out the
cardio peak 2 boss with FWTB.
Check out the new Gorilla Squat with the Kettle
Bell weight grip in Conditioning 1. You might
have to shake your booty to momentarily take
your mind off the insane leg and glute burn in this
track.
The Party step is packed with sassy attitude to
Hustle, and then the Athletic Circuit has us cross
training with 3 different movement styles.
In Peak 3, we crack the whip to get us all reaching
our final peak to Circus.
Then finally, we have circular movement patterns
in Condition 2, and a salute to all the mothers out
there, as we celebrate us making it to the end of
this kick butt workout to Hey Look Ma, I Made It.

We have a new combined BODYSTEP format.
We’ve taken all the great content from both
the Classic and Athletic formats, to create one
uplifting and action-packed BODYSTEP class.
Here’s whats different in BODYSTEP 115, 116,
117, 118 &119
• There are 11 Tracks.
• The use of more original music in the class.
Why?
To create more musical contrast throughout
the class.
• Slower-paced Warm-Up where we get
stepping right from the start.
• There is no Step Orientation track.
